At IFAT 2024, RIGK is emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to plastics recycling. Current examples show the implementation of this process in the practice of collecting and recycling. RIGK will be exhibiting at Stand 316 in Hall A6 together with GVÖ Gebinde-Verwertungsgesellschaft der Mineralölwirtschaft, Kreislaufsystem Blechverpackungen Stahl GmbH (KBS), Sintac Recycling and its subsidiary plastship GmbH.

By establishing the PlastCert department, which focuses on the certification of recyclability, recycled content and recycling processes, and integrating Hannawald Plastik GmbH in 2023, RIGK has completed its expertise along the entire value chain. Today, the company’s activities range from design for recycling and the licensing of packaging materials to the marketing of recyclates. For 2024, RIGK aims to further expand this comprehensive approach and thus its sustainable contribution to a functioning circular economy in order to increase take-back volumes and recycling rates and improve the quality of regranulates.
