The Plástico Sul Innovation and Sustainability Award, sponsored by Conceitual Brasil and organised by the magazine Plástico Sul, took place on 7th November in Caxias do Sul, in the south of Brazil. The award recognises outstanding innovation in the plastics industry, with a particular focus on adapting to market needs as well as environmental and economic challenges. Since its launch in 2020, the award has become one of the most important in the industry, focusing on the circular economy, sustainability and progressive approaches.

Gneuss was honoured with the Silver Award in the ‘Machines and Systems’ category for its OMNI recycling systems. The OMNI recycling systems facilitate the return of post-consumer food packaging to the recycling loop and thus offer an efficient solution for promoting the circular economy.
